About Tokyo Marui
Tokyo Marui was established in Japan in 1965 as a children’s toy brand. In 1985, the company decided to begin focusing on producing airsoft guns. Its first Luger P-08 release quickly gained the thumbs up from airsoft enthusiasts, thanks to its low price tag and high quality. Other products soon followed, including the very first gas blowback pistol.
In 1992 things really stepped up a gear for the airsoft weapons market, with the release of Tokyo Marui's FAMAS. Rather than using a gas tank to power the weapon, this one used a gearbox connected to a battery, making it the first of its kind to use electrics to power the gun. This innovation signalled the birth of the modern AEG, paving the way for electric airsoft gunsto dominate the sport.
